MakeMyAtlas maps run in your browser. We keep this simple:

Location and sensors

Your position on an indoor map is calculated on your device from QR codes you scan, points you tap, and — only if you start “Walk with me” and allow it — your phone’s motion and compass sensors. This data stays on your device and is not sent to us.

Camera

The in-map QR scanner uses your camera only while the scanner is open, to read the code. No images are stored or uploaded.

Saved places

Places you save and preferences such as voice guidance are stored in your browser’s local storage on your device.

Hosting

This website is served through Cloudflare, which processes standard request data (such as IP addresses) to deliver and protect the site.
